Here I am! I had trouble posting yesterday and sent off emails to John and everyone else I could think of and fortunately was able to follow all those
"Click here" signs and get myself re-registered. Being a novice computer user, I really need things plain and simple to function.
Now, here we are, back in fibromyalgia land, just in time for the change of weather, damp, cold and achy body again. I hyperextended my knee about 3 weeks ago, picking tomatoes, and am still gimping around with less pain but still aching.
Fall allergies are in full bloom in spite of some brief rain. Here's hoping my doctors prescription for a longer acting antihistamine arrives BEFORE I get sick.
I sure have missed you all! Cheerio.

Hiya Tootsie!
Yep just in time for the flares to really begin, my allergies are in overdrive for sure.....I am in some pain but its really related to my long sleepless weekend in Savannah for my ghost hunting convention! How fun was that!
I am also getting ready to move my father in for palliative care as the doctors have given him a few months to live. So I get a 4th dog moving in along with my very ill father :( .....It's ok though it will do me some good to see him sober for a while before he does pass.....It will also do me some good to have those last few months with him before he goes so I wont feel like things are unfinished....
At any rate welcome back fibromites, and I hope the weather is kind to your bodies!

Hi Fay,
Will you be having some kind of support, like a Hospice program to help you care for your Dad? I've been in that caregiver role and know how stressful it can be if you don't plan carefully. When others offer to help, ACCEPT. Think about, and make a list of things that you might suggest when people do offer.
I think that having a fourth dog must be a little like having a fourth child.
It's the third one that makes the difference and the fourth is just a bit more work but not enough to make a significant impact. Once the turf war is sorted out, they should all get along. Cheerio.

Hehe hopefully he will fit right in :) !
I am in close contact with Hospice and he is currently being serviced by hospice in the state he lives in at the moment....
My mother has been helpful with finding the information I need for help etc...She went through it with my grandmother...She also worked in social work for 15 years so she has a lot of information....
My biggest hurdle so far has been trying to find out what to do about his financial and insurance concerns.....But the social worker in his current hospice has been helping me with that....
I have 2 friends here that will help me if I need it....So hopefully it wont be too hard to get what I need during this.....
