I swear they do all this just to make you so angry and frustrated that you will give up.
It makes me upset that people who truely can not work and need disability are given a hard time. It is your money you should have access to it

Agreed 100 percent.. In court one is innocent until prooven guilty but in Social Security Disability realm one has to proove that they are not quilty first...
It sucks...

What state do you live in? This doesn't sound right. ALJ's do NOT ask questions like that. Do you have an attorney? If not, get one. Something just isn't jellin with all that you are saying is going on.
I'm not questioning you or suggesting that you aren't telling the truth, so don't get me wrong. I'm questioning the integrity of your case and what is happening in a court of law. I've never heard of anyone going through the questions that you are and I've been around ssd for a long time.
Liam can help you with this if he is still around the board. So can a lot of the old timers and I sure hope they see this post and respond. It's just unreal to me. A good attorney would not stand for this kind of treatment whatsoever.
And the fact that you contacted your congressman is a normal occurance. All of us probably did that. I know I did.
The judge is supposed to weigh your evidence from your doctors and rule on the facts, not your sex life.
Please keep us informed of what is happening with this.

In fact it does not sound right, BUT when my attorney and I were in my pre hearing appointment he warned me about those kind of questions. I was shocked, but it seems it does happen..
So, I am not surprised at those type of questions. I am just thankful that the judge did not ask me those kind of questions...
I am so sorry that your going through this ordeal....

It's still disgraceful and I'm just sorry you are having to go through this. It's bad enough to be disabled and can't work anymore. The indignities we suffer from that is awful.
I know people can be hateful and say horrible things to one another but I just wish someone would take that judge and so called neurophysc off the decision board.
I have a good relationship with my mental health doc. I see him and my regular doc every six months now. My medication is helping me enough now that I don't have to go every month anymore.
But because of the medication, I still can't work. Just call me loopey head, lol... Now I'm trying to get up the money to get an adjustable bed with the memory foam so I can sleep at night. I take sleeping pills and xanax, but the pain still wakes me up.
You hang in there girl. Talk to people over their heads if you can. Someone needs to know what you are having to put up with.
