Have you participated in any of the webinars?
Lorraine showed me that you can talk directly to Dr Gutstein in a little forum on most tuesdays.
I wondered if you were all over that already LOL!!!

No I didn't know that yet, wow very cool!
I've been all over the e-Learning stuff so far. Thanks for telling me, I have to have to have to get more familiar with that site. It's just awesome, but seems daunting to find my way around still.

Me too! The day it came online, I tried it and it was like Disneyland on its first day-- nothing worked!!! LOL!! Usually Im pretty tech savvy, but it totally stressed me out!! Lorraine took me thru it today and you can watch previous 'webinars' and then you can also join future ones. Its brilliant-- and I think you would be very valuable in bringing up subjects for Dr Gutstein to tackle. Seeing the webinar she opened up, there arent countless tons of people in the little forum either-- probably less than 30 people.
Also, Lorraine says their new book STILL isnt out yet! She was all "I wrote a chapter in it, I better know when it comes out LOL!"
Let me know if you ever go to one, ok? I'd like to see what's on your mind being able to talk to him 1-1!!

Disneyland, funny, that is so true. And yes, it was so not ready to have been launched. OH and ya know how I was going to call the Connections Center in Texas about RDI in the schools....I tried for weeks, the RDIos screwed the phone system! I need to get back on that task too.
I totally totally need to establish a webinar routine, where I attend all the live ones. I really need to be more committed to RDI, it's just soooooo much to absorb, the more I try the better. It's like NOW I totally get the stuff I struggled with a year ago, like I got some kind of comprehension jet lag. I think the trick with RDI, is having to DO it for long enough, that the subtleties and intangibles you learn, become natural to use as objectives, easy to notice. Do you know what I'm saying?
Vince can't be all he can be, until I am all I can be - or at least until I can commit to a few webinars. Grrr, disappointed in myself. And trust me, I've got no excuses not to go to every one now that I'm not peeling my son off the ceiling fan or roof or neighbors roof anymore. Are the webinars once a week? I'm going to have to check the schedule, I know there's a calendar there on the right, easy to find and check.
Have you found the clips yet of parents doing objectives with their children, so we can see what the objectives LOOK like instead of just the verbal explanation? I haven't done that yet, wondering if that's up yet.
I totally have to get 'regular' on the forum there, I haven't yet - I still am on the forum my consultant created for her clients on Yahoo, and that place is near barren so I need to move onto the RDIos. I've just always been an MGH kind of gal, lol. I'm not fond of starting fresh somewhere, but, I'll read all the posts for sure.

I havent looked over everything yet--- the RDIos has a lot more on it than I thought it did and I was just showed how to use it yesterday LOL!
Lorraine told me, as she showed me the things she has for us to work with Aaron on, that there are videos and all kind of stuff that goes with it. She said the text boxes are not always what works-- she said she would be disappointed if we ONLY did what the text box says rather than tailor it to Aaron's specific attention span!
I have always been an Online communicator-- Im so much better with typing than I am in person-- this is why I dont belong to the Autism Society or many other physically real groups.
I dont know if I will join the forums or not--- mostly because I like what I have here. But I will most def be checking out the webinars sometime :)
