To The Prettiest Moms on my list!

Once you have been hit you have to hit five or more pretty Moms. If you get hit again, You will know you are REALLY pretty! So hit five pretty moms on your friends list to let them know they are pretty!

Before I was a Mom:
I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.

Before I was a Mom,

I had never been:
Puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.
I slept all night.

Before I was a Mom:

I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.

Before I was a Mom:

I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put them down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.

Before I was a Mom:
I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small could make me feel
so important and happy.

Before I was a Mom:
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love,
The heartache, the wonderment or the satisfaction of
Being a Mom.

I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom.

So send this to someone who you think is a pretty Mom. I just did!

Each of us - parent, grandparent, relative or friend influences the life
of a child.

Gina, must one be a Mom to relate to all those emotions?

Sometimes I think all dads must feel like Rodney Dangerfield...

What is the first thing a dad gets for Father's Day? (All the bills from Mother's Day a month earlier...)

When a man is born, everyone asks "And how is the Mother doing?"
When a man gets married, they say "Oh, what a beautiful bride!"
When a man dies, they ask "How much did he leave her?"

Hey friend,
Nope, you dont have to be a MOM to feel those.. Dads also go thru those feelings. I know plenty of dads who get up with the kids and help with them. ALSO there are plenty of single dads out there.

I give LOTS of credit and KUDOS to dads out there who are raising kids on there own and those dads who help out raising the kids!! HUGSSSSSSSS

How ya doing Ponyguy?

HUGS,
Gina Marie

Purple Hats

In honor of Beautiful Women's Month and in memory of Belinda Emmett who lost her fight with cancer, please pass this on to five women.

If you don't know five women to pass this on to, one will do just fine.

'If I had my life over'

By Belinda Emmett

(written after she found out she was dying from cancer)

I would have gone to bed when I was sick instead of pretending the Earth would go into a holding pattern if I weren't there for a day...

I would have burned the pink candle sculpted into a rose before it melted in storage...

I would have talked less and listened more...

I would have invited friends over to dinner even if the carpet was stained or the sofa faded...

I would have eaten popcorn in the 'good' living room and worried much less about the dirt when someone wanted to light a fire in the fireplace...

I would have taken the time to listen to my grandfather ramble about his youth...

I would have shared more of the responsibility carried by my husband...

I would never have insisted the car windows be rolled up on a summer day because my hair had just been teased and sprayed...

I would have sat on the lawn with my grass stains...

I would have cried and laughed less while watching television and more while watching life...

I would never have bought anything just because it was practical, wouldn't show soil or was guaranteed to last a lifetime...

Beautiful Women's Month

Age 3 She looks at herself and sees a Queen

Age 8 She looks at herself and sees Cinderella

Age 15 She looks at herself and sees an Ugly Sister ('Mum, I can't go to school looking like this!')

Age 20 She looks at herself and sees 'too fat / too thin / too short / too tall / too straight / too curly' - but decides she's going out anyway

Age 30 She looks at herself and sees 'too fat / too thin / too short / too tall / too straight / too curly' - but decides she doesn't have time to fix it, so she's going out anyway

Age 40 She looks at herself and sees 'clean' and goes out anyway

Age 50 She looks at herself and sees 'I am' and goes wherever she wants to

Age 60 She looks at herself and reminds herself of all the people who can't even see themselves in the mirror anymore - goes out and conquers the world

Age 70 She looks at herself and sees wisdom, laughter and ability and goes out to enjoy life

Age 80 Doesn't even bother to look - just puts on a purple hat and goes out to have fun with the world

Maybe we should put on that purple hat earlier..

If you don't mind, send this on to all the women you are grateful to have as friends.

Maybe we should all grab that purple hat earlier.

Please send this to five phenomenal women today in celebration of Beautiful Women's Month.

If you do, something good will happen - you will boost another woman's self esteem.

Love from )))Zoso(((

how truly wonderful it is to grow into your own skin and feel comfortable with who you are whatever your age and whatever you look like.

yes, life is too short not to burn that sculpted rose candle.

we all deserve to give ourselves the best cookie from the batch we just baked.

thank you neil and gina for your thought inspiring words!
