more dana

as many of you know, Dana has not been doing well lately. she is in a nursing home and has recieved some sad news. i dont kow how to put this, but the doctor gave her 6 months to live. i know this must hurt alot to read, as it does for me. she has undergone lifethreatening surgery today. something with a plasma port. im sorry i dont have more info last night, but the family and me were told about it last night.i was told she was about to go into surgery a few hourse ago, and everthing is going smoothly. she is going o be removed from the nursing home because she doesnt need steroids anymore, and i imagine they want to make her as comfortable as possible. she will no longer be able tocome here any longer, im sure you can understand. im sorry i dont come with good news. she is like a mom to m and this is tough to write. thanks for your time, thought, and prayers.

hi there. I did not know dana (did she sometimes sign as california dana?) but i am pretty sure i have read some of her posts. i think maybe some in peripherial neuropathy even? in any case, i do get confused myself but am sure i know who you are talking about. It is sad that she is so bad. I am glad that she has a friend such as you. i hope you will stay around and keep us informed as to how she is doing as well as how you are doing also.

how have you been doing lately? I think i read a few of your posts in emotional support forum. I love that forum as everyone is usually so helpful and genuinely care how people are.

i will keep both dana and you in my thoughts and prayers. will be please keep coming back so we will be informed? i know it is a hard thing to do especially when the news is bad. but that is often when you really need the live and support others can give you.
