my medicare part D has been through AARP, and they have just dumped all their very-low-income members.

anyone got any good ideas about how to find a good Part D on the very-low-income program?

yes, i saw, thanks.

i was kind of thinking emotional support from the epilepsy forum and more general information on this forum.

i was too upset last night to be clear.

AARP has dumped EVERYONE on the very-low-income program, at least in california.

on this program we pay no premiums, have no donut hole, copays one dollar for generics, three for brand names. which i think stinks to begin with because before part D poor people got all their meds for free. i know people who are now paying fifty dollars a month that they didn't have to pay before Part D.

there are other plans that do accept very-low-income people. medicare sent me a list. i now have to go research them.

so apparently AARP has joined the soak the poor and give to the rich gang. this was not an error, they did it on purpose. after all, people like me have no power, they can do anything they want to to us.

This is a little off topic, but I had already decided to boycott AARP due to their resistance and their not allowing Dennis Kucinich to participate in the Democratic debates.

Now to me, this is the last straw. They are in it for the money.
I will not have anything to do with them. So wrong on many levels.

I will send their mailings back to them in their pre=paid envelopes, ripped up.

I am angry.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and I pray that you can find some good coverage for yourself and others in the same situation.
