Ultram and Ultram ER

Why would these 2 meds effect me differently?

Ultram ER is the extended release formula, I'm not sure if that is the answer you were looking for? There is also a generic brand (Tramadol), neither has helped me.

well sorry I should have said . I take Tramadol 100 mg 3 times a day and tried Ultram er and it didnt effect me like the Tramadol did , like help the pain.

Sorry, didn't mean to offend you. Maybe the Tramadol works faster on you, breaks down quicker? Some people say generics are better. I just know that neither one worked for my pain.
