Hi all,
I don't post here much anymore, but I have an issue that I need advice on. I recently started using Ambien for sleep issues. I was on Torazodone, but it stopped working, so the doctor switched me to Ambien. Anyway, every night that I take it, I sleep the whole next day. I am under the care of a mental health agency, and have talked to my case manager about this situation, and she insists it is not the ambien. However, everything I have read about ambien side-effects lists next day drowsiness as a side effect. I am at my wits end. If I don't take something for sleep, I don't sleep very much at all, but can't deal with the next day drowsiness. My case manager says that if I just go to bed and awake at the same time everyday, I will naturally get on a more regular sleep schedule, but I don't believe her. Anyone with similar experiences, please post so I can share with my case manager to prove my point. Thanks.
