I have ask before about side effects from Lyrica but I am back. I was taking Topamax and it was controlling my s/z. I had to get off the Topa because it was causing me to have one urinary tract infection after the other and I just couldn't stand it anymore.
In all of the Lyrica sites I have gone to it says Lyrica is an add on while taking other anti seizure medications. My doctor put me on Lyrica alone.
I am back to having s/z, my eye sight is fuzzy, swelling from my knees down and in my hands and face. My migraines are back dispite getting Botox shots which was controlling them. My face turns so red I feel like if I turned off the lights, my face would light the room. My face also feels hot like it did when I had hot flashes. I have also gained about twenty pounds since I have started taking it about two months ago. (I think I have been Sleep eating again)
The doctor has said for me to decrease the Lyrica from six 75mg a day to four. He has also ordered another EEG. I just had one in August.
What I wanted to ask is have any of you had the red, hot face with Lyrica?
