LIZARD

I have recently started having a strange (completely void of pain) issue when fatigued or while heading into sleep. The only way I can describe it is an air-popping sensation on the right side of my head. It's inside my head and near the ear but is not an "ear-popping" thing. It will be random during that time and has no "beat," so it's not connected to pulse. It can happen once or a dozen times in quick succession.
Curiously, this is the side that had the shunt infection more than 35 years ago. That may have nothing to do with it. (My current shunt is on the left side, as all others [three] have been since then.) Hubby wondered whether or not it could be minor seizure activity. There is no motor component to it, and I have no sensations that indicate any of my "normal" simple partial activity.
Any takers?? :)
LIZARD, always curious and willing to learn :)
