On Fri. John and I drove to Salt Lake City early to spend the weekend with 2 of our grandkids. We had a wonderful time with them and I was feeling really good. That is until Sun. night. After dropping the kids back to their parents John and I decided to have a Capauchino Coffe drink from the hotel lobby and turn in early. After about 10 mins. after drinking the coffee we got violently ill. We were up all night taking turns in the bathroom. I thought there was no way they were going to do the Angiogram with me puking. We forced ourselves to the hospital and told the nurses that we were sick. That;s ok they said we can give you anti-nausia meds. Poor John felt really miserable. I asked if they could give him some of that med. too, hehe. Of course it was a "Nope". Poor guy slept while I went in for the Angiogram. My doc said everything is good. The Annie has not grown and the coils are not collapsing. Yippee!!! So after the Angio. I had to lay there for 2 more hrs. with a bad back. Ouch. We had to drive home right after the test. It is a 4 hr. drive. It took us 5 1/2 hrs. due to bathroom stops and changing drivers. It was the longest day. Today my stomach is still awful. I will be taking an extra day off work. Still pretty weak from all the excitment we had the last 4 days. But, all in all I'm glad they were able to do the test and things are looking good. Thank you for your kind words and prayers. They really do work. I just had the worst feeling that something was not right in my head. I just really, really needed to see my grandkids this weekend because of a feeling I had, like it might be the last time I saw them. I was pretty emotional when we had to drop them back home. But, anyway all is good and I feel relieved. Thanks all. Take care,
Denise
Hi Denise
So glad to hear that all is well - I gotta feel sorry for your husband though. I can't think of anything I hate more than nausea etc...it really is very debilitating.
It's great though, that you had fun with your grandkids anyway.
Cheers

Oh my goodness, what an ordeal! But certainly the Angio makes up for it. I had an MRA last June. Everything looked great. I have had 2 coils and 1 stent. I'm waiting for the Angio shortly to see if the stent is good, too. Doesn't it feel like a big load off your mind? Cranium vacation!! :)

Denise: Wow. I am sure you and hubby are glad it is over with, but golly, that sounds horrible. Reading people's thoughts before going to their check up angiogram really helps me. Mine is November 13th and I am already starting to feel some "dis - ease". Thanks for sharing your adventure. I am glad all is well and I am glad it is over now for a while.

Aren't you glad you don't have a day like that every week. I'm glad the news was good.
