I'm on 20mg at night and 10 sometimes in the day.

Hi Coyote:
Very slowly.
Titrate down 5 or 10 mgs. every few days. Actually - ask a pharmacist. It's like when you first started - you titrate up slowly too.
Didn't you just start the Baclofen? Sometimes it takes a while to work, others get immediate relief.

You're not supposed to just stop taking it? I didn't know that.
I have taken baclofen off and on for the past 9 years...

Saw this excellent advice:
"It is always advisable to taper Baclofen if stopping it. We recommend reducing the dosage by 20% every 3 days if you are doing this (of course under the advice of your physician). Stopping Baclofen suddenly can result in hallucinations and nightmares."
I think you also get rebound spasticity if you stop without tapering.
But you're not on a very big dose, so it shouldn't be a big deal. Good luck. :-)

Thank you all. I'm tapering by cutting down a bit each week. Think it should be ok. I just want to know it's not causing harm instead of helping. I may end up right back on it.
Know it helps with Clonzepam at night for sleep. Don't know what I'll do then.
