Can you for 3 weeks straight do something nice for yourself

things like do your nails

go to a movie

watch a fav movie

listen to your favorite songs

do your hair do your makeup

window shop

ebay shop but don't buy unless you know you can afford

do non material things to make yourself happy

stroll through a mall you haven't been to in years

do things you haven't done in years

sing as loud as you can

dance as much as you can

just make you happy

say nice things about yourself for 3 weeks nothing negative allowed at all

Read a book front to back

kick your feet up and relax

take a bubble bath

get dressed up in the clothes that make you feel your best even if you have

no where to go and go somewhere

go for coffee with a friend

if you have kids go to the library and let them do weekend activities and do something for you

find places that have weekend activities for your kids free and do things for you

smile at everyone even if you don't know more over smile at you everytime

you look in the mirror

get a manicure or pedicure even better do one yourself all it takes is a big

bowl some baby oil mixed with salt in your hot water and then make a paste to rub on feet when finished and put on a pair of socks to keep in the moisture or buy your favorite foot scrub and soak

make someone cook something for you your favorite food or make your favorite food to eat

all you are asked to do again for this test is do something nice for you everyday one thing for 3 weeks in a row and see what kind of results you get now I gave a list to start its up to you to do the rest and you don't have to do my list try your own if you have some thoughts good luck to all can't wait to see the comments after 3 weeks or even the first week to let me know how things are going

REMEMBER NOTHING NEGATIVE ALLOWED

this is all you have to do for 3 weeks do you think there will be a change in your self esteem and for those of you who clean and clean remember dust is natures way of preserving wood let it sit for a day Its your time and all about you only you and you only :p

Well its been 3 weeks just wondering how many have pampered themselves with little things and wonder if anyone is feeling better about themselves for trying this I didn't mean it as nothing but trying to show anyone that you are worth something and you are special and deserve to treat yourself as just that hope some tried it Hugs Krissi

Krissi,
I had a great week-end. I had ny grandaughter for the week-end, I colered with her! And it was fun.

Saturday I got her up early and picked up my daughter for a bit of pampering, all 3 of us got our hair done. Since my daughter is pregnent she really enjoyed getting her hair highlighjted. And it was a treat for my grandaughter who just turned 4!

Sunday we drove 4 hours to go see my son. He is in a work ethics camp. 3 wonderful things about that day! 1) My grandaughter hugged her daddy and told him she loved him too many times to count! It was warming to the hearty to se the happiness in their faces! 2) One jailer thought that my grandaughter was my child, that was a nice compliment! 3) One of the jailors told me how good my son is and that he really was not the type of person that she be there. I guess I did something nice!

I do my nails almost everyday, I like switching colors to match what I am wearing~!

I love my hair, great colors, blond, my natural color, Brown to add contast and a bit of red streaks to match the autum colors! It feels good to do what I want to my hair. I even got my nose peirced the last time I got my hair done! Why?? Because I could!

Thats just a little bit of my little bits of daily happiness!
I am listenoing to my favorite music, Dream Big by Ryan Shupe and the Rubberband! I love the song it gives me hope and inspiration! I usually start my day listening to that song!

So Dream Big, as big as the ocean Blue! Hugs Javisi;)

Krissi,
I've always been nicknamed "Happy Camper" because of my constant smiling and brightening people's day up! :)
And since being separated from my husband,I've pierced my ears, bought jewlery that I could afford and clothing in colors that make me feel good.I used to dye my hair a strawberry blonde(it's naturally ash blonde),but when I got ill it became too much to do at home and I cannot afford salon prices!I wear makeup and hair ornaments.I don't polish my fingernails because my hands are in water so much or knocking the polish off.But I delight in polishing my toenails! I make my own sugar scrub. I enjoy buying gifts that I can afford for friends, even if the gifts are small. And recently I became a grandmother for the first time.....it felt good to be told that I was a "young grandmother"! :p

i LOVE the line:

"dust is natures way of preserving wood."

what would make us feel good if we didn't take care of ourselves by doing nice things on a daily basis?

there is a time to clean and a time for us.

I am greatful you all tried it out I just wanted people to make themselves happy thats all as we forget to do this sometimes and its so important for those still suffering I wanted them to have a chance to try to do something for them to stop the suffering if only for a moment thats what mattered to me
