NPR Does anyone remember the history of this forum?

I've had to register several times and been absent long periods when computers have crashed. I'm just trying to piece together in my brain when this site has crashed, and we had to register and when it moved.

I remember a totally different format that I think was in 1998. It ran out of room and had to be archived. Are those archives still accessible anywhere?

Can anyone complete the history of this board after that?

Also I have several T-shirts with braintalk.org on them with the same floral border used at the top of each page. A few years later I bought shirts without an address since that doesn't apply to this forum anymore. Is there still a store to help support this forum?

And lastly, is this still John Lester's board??

I remember the old wild board were flamers and trolls abounded but great info was to be had if you could work your way through it. I don't know anyway to access the old forum after one of the big crashes.

John Lester is still running the board. As far as buying things to benefit the forum I'm unaware of that.

I am an old timer but you would never know it since i have had to re-register so many times. I am not knocking John Lester, he has done a great job and hope he continues on - hardware crashes as does software - this is a fact of life. Keep up the good work John.
