Has anyone had this happen . All ok, having a waking dream and not being able to control the pain of the headache and the wikkedness of the dream all at the same time. As you can all tell it is very early in the morning yet I cannot sleep. The dream I just had was so scary anddd the pain is so bad thought i would try to type it away. Has this ever happened to you all. This would be the third time this has actually happened . The first two times I just thought I was crazy now I'm not so sure.

Hi Snowangel,
Before my operation I had amazingly bad headaches that just wouldnt go away. They consisted of disturbed vision (almost like looking through broken glass), pressure in my ears and a total zapping of any energy I had. No matter what pills I took, nothing would get rid of them... including the usual migraine tablets.
If this goes on for a prolonged period then please go see you doctor and see what he says....
Best wishes

Hi, SnowAngel -- I'm sorry to hear about your scary episodes, on top of everything else you have been going through. No, I haven't experienced the combination of fierce headaches and nightmares that you have, but I have sometimes had especially vivid nightmares when I've had a high fever, and I also have sometimes had "waking dreams" that are frightening. I force myself to wake up entirely and then recite a comforting Bible passage in my mind again and again, kind of pushing out the negative thoughts with positive ones. That always works for me. And of course snuggling up against my husband helps too. I hope you find all your answers and your peace soon. Take care, Hope

Thank You so much for your replies. Yes these nightmares are when I feel like I am awake and so I have been able to awaken and try to force through the pain and fear. You are right about the bible passages . I have tried that the last two times and the snuggling works if the pain is not to bad. Please pray for me today has been filled with pain, dizzeness and nausea to the point where I feel like going back to the hospital. I just do'nt feel like being sent home again. :( ,
Peace to you all.
