I had my PJ leftovers tonight, and I am FULL!! :D Just one piece of pizza and two chicken strips. Time was (not so long ago, too!) that I coulda inhaled nearly a whole pizza, and now, the grease kills me if I have even one piece too many. It's GREAT!! :D

Nope...This may sound elitist, too, but I really believe it's the best, because it forbids nothing. I joined Weight Watchers in August of last year, and 86 fat, gross lbs have come off of me since! :D I am never looking back!

LIZARD, shrinkin' away :D

Thanks. I have a lonnng ways to go. It's kind of hard to be on a low carb diet if you don't closely monitor what you eat.... Many things are high that people don't think about. It's a challenge.

Have you considered WW at this point? It forbids absolutely nothing, and you can do it a couple of different ways. Since it's the way "naturally thin" people eat, you can do it forever. :) I really think you'd find it beneficial to you.

Hang in...

LIZARD, more than halfway! :D

I've known people to have results from WW. Driving a truck I don't have the capabilities of a plan like that. Maybe if I wasn't on the road months at a time it may work. Many people are mislead about Atkins. Once you reach a certain level you can have nearly everything. Just not all the time.

Congratulations to all that are working on it. I had a great thing going, really it was just my health and I went with that feeling of I have had enough - so I lost weight. Started feeling better, was bored cause I don't get out much, and gained some back. I hated the wrinkles, really bad! Now I've gained some back and I think I look better. Reality has set in as I do have a very bad back. So now I'm trying to cut back. Bad thing is, my husband has heart problems and was diagnosed as diabetic a couple of years ago. I was buying and eating things that I hoped he would, and getting results. He ate ice cream and I never in my life ate that much ice cream. A bone scan showed I was really bad off in the calcium department. So I ate ice cream and really like it  so now it's harder. I admire those that stick with it and hope to be a tall wrinkly bag of bones again one day.

Sounds like a fun time. I got hooked on the Endulge items from Atkins. I have to stock up so the stuff in the truck stops doesn't call my name so loudly... :)
