update on dana

as we all know, californiaDana is a very beloved member of our braintalk society. she is no longer able to grace us with her presence, due to her current poor health. i would like you all to know, being a close friend of dana and her family, that she is currently in the hospital and has been there since tuesday, october,2. from there, she will be moved to a specialized assisted living center. currently, she is fighting numerous infections, and is struggling to keep her well known optimism. dana has been a valued member of BT for many years. her daughter, eden, is a best frined of mine, and is handling the situation with admirable maturity and grace. her husband, Terry, has not left her side for a second. dana has an amazing family, and a presence that can light up a room, even on the computer! she says hello to everyone and misses seeing everyone. i will keep you all updated on "mom" as i like to call her. please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers.

Thanks for posting this EC345, I have been wondering how Dana is, please give her my love and tell her she's in my prayers for a speedy recovery and good adjustment into the new assisted living facility. She is dearly missed here. :(

I have been out of chatroom more than in lately so didn't realize California Dana was gone and in hospital. I remember times coming into chatroom and she would be only one there and we would talk and she would try to help out with my concerns. She is a brave and upbeat lady. I wish her the very best and hopefully when she gets her new place, she can get a computer set up asap! :eek:

While I didn't actually know CaliforniaDana, I did get used to seeing her name and did reply to her a few times I think. I am glad you told us how she is and I am among the list of people that are hoping she gets better and returns back here soon.
