My girl is finally moving into our school district her at home, it's only about a 10 minute walk from our house. I'm so excited, they say she is too advanced for the Autism classroom, however she is not quite ready to get mainstreamed straight into 1st grade so she will be attending an LH Class (Learning Handicap) There are children there with many varities of issues none of them are autisitc, they are mostly healthy kids that struggle with learning or writing. This is Megan's next step into being completely mainstreamed into the regular classroom and I'm so lucky that this class is available in our little town here. She has been going to schools that are 30 minute drives from our house, she loves the bus but can be on it for almost 2 hours each way. I just had to share this news with all of you.
