when i first registered in 1996? i registered as annie. unfortunatealy i misspelled my e mail address and had to reregister as annied. this time around i got my real name back, so now i am annie.
haven't registered my cat yet. she is sitting on the keyboard right now looking at me like she wants her name back also. now that trisho and her cat are gone my cat doesn't have another cat to complain to.

Birdbomb
10-21-2006, 02:36 AM
The one and only, and always have been...Birdbomb....on all forums. I am terrible with names so I just stay who I am.
Don't post much, I am more of a lurker.
Lindybuzz
10-21-2006, 05:17 AM
Tried to stay who I am - Lindy - but couldn't register so I switched to Lindybuzz.
I've always been lor. When I first came I wanted a name I could remember so I used the first 3 letters of my real name (Lorraine).
Braindrain
10-21-2006, 11:31 AM
Kristin, you don't remember me??:p "Braindrain" describes the function of
the shunts used in the treatment of hydrocephalus. I made it all one word
because it was easier to remember that way.
annie, if you like, I can register my cat here, so your cat won't feel so
lonely. :)

I was "satman" when I joined in 2001 and I changed it to "satman next generation" after the last crash.
Joy, I am so sorry about your daughter, you are both in my prayers. Keep us updated.
God Bless....In HIS Service....Dan
Well I'm back from the hospital. She is on Keppra and is angry about her seizures anyway so this med doesn't help that problem. I'm due for a good long vent here sometimes myself, lol. Thanks for caring. I have problems myself and hate to drive at night but I think it is a good thing I went tonight. Otherwise, I think her husband would have tried to have her committed. Not joking. Keep us in your prayers please.
hi! I'm bon......haven't been around in a few years. I understand there was another bon (not me) that used the same name when I left. I may have spelled my name bonn the first time....can't remember! LOL Anyway, Hi everyone and glad I'm back to see your smiling faces! bon

I've gone through Lexia, Lexia70 and Lexia702 with various forum crashes over the years and since my avatar was a dragon i"m now lexiathedragongirl! I've yet to get around setting up my profile. One day.
Still up and down with my szs but certainly far better than they were when it all started. Other health issues are still plaguing, life goes on :)
I was diagnosed with Right Mesial Temporal Lobe Epilepsy at 18 months old. Several diagnoses and two and a half decades later, I was finally diagnosed with a severe vitamin deficiency known as PYROLURIA.
Now, my seizures and severe moodswings are under control. . .as long as I stick to THE PROGRAM. ;)
I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and getting to know you. I am happy to answer questions as they may arise.
With Warm Regards, Ona:)
It's me jing!! How the heck are you doing? Heard your surgery and non smoking attempt were successful......(((((((((((BIG HUGS to YOU)))))) bon

Pam and Bon !!! ----- Wow. Yup ....Jan '05 it was discovered that a brain tumor was causing my seizures  and it hadn't grown a bit since '90 when they started so it had to be benign, right? I was going to be spending a lot of time in hospitals for tests (and breast surgery :( which it turned out they wouldn't do until AFTER brain surgery) so I quit smoking!! After 42 years of heavy chain smoking.
Then it turned out the brain tumor (removed in Feb this year) was malignant and the breast stuff (removed April this year) they were certain was malignant was benign. Somewhere in there we lost our much loved 18 year old cat. I never smoked a cigarette but I never stopped eating and eating and eating.
I've gained 45 lb. but lost every seizure. So - what's going on with you?

Hello,
I am SAK89, just as I have always been. SAK are my initials and 89 was the age of my dear grandmother when she passed away about 6-1/2 years ago. I came on board at about that time, so she was on my mind. I've just never wanted to take off the 89. It's so good to have things back to normal with the forum.

Glad to see the board back up. I'm a parent of a young adult with seizures &
M/R as well. I lurked quiet a bit in the old days. Trying to get some clues that would help me with her.
Hoping ya'll are having a good week.

I mostly lurked here before, but some may know me from other boards. I'm purplegrrl (or purplegrrloz) everywhere.
Jack - good to see another Aussie :) I'm in Victoria... at the moment, splitting my time between Melbourne and Geelong (where my mother lives).
I have always been CEBA on the forum, Charlotte in person. I think I first joined the forum in 2002. I am 35 and have had nocturnal seizures since age 5, with periods of no seizures off meds at one point in my childhood and again in early adulthood. I had grand mal as a child/teenager, and now have had simple partials for the past 5 years. I have been on Keppra for at least two years now, but have tried Phenobarb (as a child in the 1970's and again in 1985), and then Tegretol (for 9 years), then Neurontin and Topamax, but I did not have any luck with either of them, which led to the Keppra. I also have lupus, but that is fairly mild, and I take Plaquenil for that.

I'm linniec, same name, same password. (been here since 2005--have had seizures since 1947 or so. Diagnosed with petit mal(absence) in 1956. Was on Dilantin from 1965-2005.(--combined with phenobarbital til 1977.) On Keppra and Trileptal now (Keppra's easier on the liver--I'm depressive anyway) C'est la vie...or at least my vie.

Hi I'm Spinnymommy in person known as Kerin.
I'm newly diagnosed with epilepsy, thus am new to this board,
but I've been on the brain injury board (as Spinnymommy) for quite some time,
although I don't post a lot.
HI!!!!
zoso a.k.a Neil
11-03-2006, 06:38 AM
>>>>>>>>Greetings<<<<<<<
Zoso is back.I rejoined using A.K.A Neil as Zoso is my handle and Neil is my name.I thorght joining under just zoso-my previous incarnation in BT that i would be told that name was already being used.So now you all no i'm Neil.My avatar signature remain unchanged.
I used to post mostly in the general forum or in bipolar but all my problems started with a TBI , but rarely do i click down that far in the forums list before something catches my eye.My doctor tried me on bipolar meds for a while so i called into to that forum.Where i learned a lot and made e-friends. I will call in here as epilepsy is causing me most problems right now.
So i will wish you well and hope that the best you ever hope for is the worst you ever see.;)
Be seeing you . Zoso :)

I was diagnosed with Right Mesial Temporal Lobe Epilepsy at 18months and Rapid Cycling Bipolar in my 20's.
Now, the doctors have properly diagnosed me with Celiac Disease and Pyroluria.......and my seizures and severe mood swings are a thing of the past! :D
I've eliminated from my diet:
ALL GRAINS
SWEETENERS
LEGUMES
ALCOHOLS
I take many supplements to compensate for my SEVERE VITAMIN DEFICIENCY.
This new PROGRAM works for "me".......maybe it will help others, too. I don't know.:o
Look into:
B6 and ZINC levels. It's a simple blood test. If deficient, that means the body isn't properly absorbing nutrients correctly and supplements should be taken. A nutritionist can properly tell a person how much vitamins are necessary based on the individuals genetic make-up & body type.
I am so THRILLED that my seizures and mood-swings have stopped......if, by sharing the information I have gained, I help at least one individual overcome "their" seizures/severe mood swings......than I will feel that I have succeeded.
I look forward to getting to know you, and everyone else in this marvelous community, better.
Respectfully,
Ona :)
