Question If eggs are not recommended for children under the age of 2, why is it okay to give them vaccines that have chick embryos or eggs as an ingredient in them
If eating eggs can cause an allergy, such as those listed in the above url, one would think that being injected with an egg contained vaccine would produce the same result.
I know that at the flu shop clinics one of the questions asked is if you have a sensitivity to eggs. I am just wondering if this is asked before giving the vaccines to infants and children also on any of the vaccines given to them. That may contain eggs. How would you know if the child were allergic without running some kind of sensitivity test first? Which then goes back to the original question of why give the vaccine if eating eggs not even recommended before 2 years of age..

I knew a mom, 15+ years ago it would be, her child was in a chair, couldn't even swallow let alone eat, couldn't talk, smile, needs diapers for the rest of his life, needs care for the rest of his life, he could move some, but involuntarily. Couldn't walk, or move to enjoy himself such as holding the string on a kite. His vaccine destroyed much of his brain, much of HIM.
When he was a baby, he got a 'routine' vaccine, he got very sick, screaming, fever. Her doctor kept saying she was on overworried first time mom. Finally, she went to the ER - they gave him some shot to stop the reaction of the egg based vaccine, the ER staff recognized the problem right away, some severe reaction to the egg that destroys the brain, 'eats the brain' she said. I don't know the terminology. Well, her child is now like that for the rest of his life, had her doctor that gave the shot listened, seen him - her child would not have had his brain 'eaten' by the reaction, destroyed, hour after hour while she pleaded with the doctor's office staff to bring him back.
Well, can you imagine?
The willingness of science to sacrifice the few, for the good of the many, is not how parents feel. Ya know? It's beyond outrageous, there wouldn't be a standard test to make sure baby isn't allergic to eggs, if not an alternate base than egg. Like breast milk maybe.

OMG! There are so many disgusting things in them...
That is horrifying Mili!

It was extremely horrifying. Don't get angry, it's friday. Just continue being part of the change, you want to see, by informing about what helped Coley. It's funny how word gets around, who hears what, the routes information you give may travel. You may be helping some child, some family, right now with what you've said. Ya know?

But that'll ruin my whole weekend!
I'm tired...up last night a few times, Coley is sick and I really don't know why.
He won't eat anything except clear liquids, and not much of it. I'm worried about his blood sugar...and if this continues he'll be flirting with dehydration...
So that's likely part of my 'tood today! But all this stuff just really irks me sometimes!

i remember mentioning that long time ago in the 40s when my Austrian born husband was 6 and went to school where he got his first vaccine, small pox, the nurses would scratch their skin if there was a reaction, no vaccine.
Somebody, in this forum, I don't remember who, explain that scratch was to see if they were allergic to eggs.
I never made the connection as MrsJ is noticed: vaccine are reproduced on eggs, and eggs are not given to children until their immune system is mature usually between a year and two of age.
So, now, the immunization program is given blindly. They don't care if a baby's immune system is not mature enough to take eggs or vaccine reproduced on eggs.
Babies suffer needlessly from rashes, seizures, become autistic, become disabled for life, from a vaccine grown in eggs ???? for the good of the rest? or, more to the point, for the financial gain of those greedy vaccine makers?
Is that the difference ??? A very expensive difference causing so much pain and abuse discarding those affected by vaccines using them as fodder for all sort of experiments ??? and hiding this information from the public ???
This is a outrage, thanks MrsJ for pointing this fact.

I always wonder-- and this might be a little bit of me just wondering out loud here, but what would Aaron be like if we HAD vaccinated him?
None of our kids have or will be vaccinated. Ever.
But what if?
It breaks my heart to hear the stories. And Hazel's story *peta's girl* is what I heard when I was pregnant with my first-- and I made it a mission to find out all I could and make the right decision.
And I did.
There is a girl I know that is 22 that had her first at 19--- she did the same thing-- made sure she knew everything before making that 'routine' decision.

Matthew was allergic to eggs - hives & vomiting when he grabbed some off my plate at 10 months - told the Dr. several times, it's even noted in his chart at 12 & 15 mo check-ups. Reminded Dr. at 15 mo MMR, "oh, it's not a problem, there's not enough egg protein in the shots anymore to worry about." Ok, then WHY is it right in the literature for the shot that they give you AFTER they give the shot? I was worried, but I was also 23 and believed the Dr. knew best....

Doctors knows only about drugs, common sense is not taught at the school of medicine any more. Doctors of old times had better knowledge too <ok,they were not dealing with vaccines-induced diseases or antibiotics-resistant diseases> when my sister at 18 (1960s) got sick with Typhus, she was treated with large amounts of penicillin and the good doctor, a young one, told us to prepare yogurt (in those times we knew how to make yogurt at home) and to give it with honey.
In my readings I have concluded that vaccines have created new diseases, or disorders. Penicillin did an excellent job at curing some infections but there were other options out there as effective like phagues (sp)but penicillin was faster and later excessive use of antibiotics created monster germs of harmless ones.
when my son was 3 months he received dtp vaccines, he cried and had diarrhea, doctor said "is teething", no it wasn't and, for diarrhea "apple juice".....didn't work.
