What if it not thimerisol but something else about the vaccine that is causing problems?

That's what I think...

Maybe it's the combo of ALL the junk. Or maybe it's just the way 'certain' people synthesize it...

With all the Jenny stuff, and her strong belief that it has something to do with the vaccines I've been thinking back...

Coley got TONS of vaccines because he was a preemie. The addition of an RSV shot monthly plus the flu shots 2 extra his first winter and 4 his second.

PLUS, the whole idea of one size fits all...great point...

PLUS his neurological development at the time of the shots...something that irked me even then...his age was adjusted for everything in his fist like 2 years, but not for the vaccine schedule. He was 34 weeks gestation with his first shot...

Ok, so he was definately showing signs of something prior to the MMR shot...barfing, not eating, and beginning to be 'less available' to learn...but after is when he got this mysterious chronic thrush infection.

He had stopped barfing for a couple months and even gained some weight, but after the MMR, he dehydrated himself 2x in one week, had a TERRIBLE reaction to the MMR: couldn't stand, rash head to toe, and then he started barfing again on a regular basis.

So the idea of this build up, or insult to injury certainly could hold merit in our case.

That got me wondering about the yeast. How the heck does that play into it, where does it come from and why does it explode? You can find lots of information about mood & behavior with yeast overgrowth...

I then found some stuff about naturally occuring Q10 production being damaged by yeast. Lack of Q10 basically shows aging: breakdown of immunity and degeneration of cells. Q10 has had some studies with alziemers and parkinson's with varying results. And some people use it with good results with mito issues and developmental disorders.

But how does all that factor in with the diets????

From our perspective, sugar could be the food for the yeast...but you'd think that over time things would improve, they have not.

There is a chicken/egg debate about fructose intolerance and mito...there seems to be a correlation between the 2. Has fructose damaged the mito, or does damaged mito cause a lower tolerance to fructose?

And as for dairy/casein, maybe it's the lactose and not the casein that's the real problem, since eliminating casein = eliminating lactose.

Gluten is a protien, so how does that make sense?

Maybe something in the vaccines, maybe the viruses themselves are attacking or bombarding the system to the extent that cells are effectively aging????? And of course everyone ages differently...that's a factor of genetics right?

Wasn't there something once about alziemers and autism being related?????

Is it possible that the vaccines are damaging enzymes?

Anyone up for a research project. My head hurts, but I'm real curious now...

Any other theories?

What if it's not the vaccine at all, but something else--all the crappy poisoned junk we buy from China, or air or water pollution? I know many people really believe the vaccine connection, but it's probably more feasible that, if it is due to some contamination with a neurotoxin, it's something much more pervasive than a single injection (or series)--I think it would be something chronic.

I hate to see the research community continuing to replicate research over and over again, at the expense of maybe finding the culprit or group of culprits elsewhere. The thimerosol has been removed from the new vaccines, but kids are still being diagnosed, and now at a higher rate. This doesn't correlate with vaccination as the causative agent.

However, it is probably easier to tackle a single-contaminant theory, than to try to suss out particular contaminants from an almost limitless and ever0varying mix (it's hard to reproduce the environment in which we live). I can't even begin to design that experiment. Whenever I hear anti-environmentalists question the need to clean up the air and reduce pollution, usually scoffingly, I really wonder at what point they will wise up. Probably never, as long as their stocks increase in value:(

Have you guys ever looked at the long nasty list of stuff that's in vaccines?

I still have to wonder...but with all the focus on thermosol...I guess we could conclude that it's not the problem, but perhaps another one of the nasty ingredients could be to blame...or maybe the combo...or maybe the virus...viruses alter cell make up...being bombarded by them within a short period of time, what does that do?????

With all the observational accounts, I gotta believe that there is something about the vaccines...but I would imagine all the crap in the air, food & water contributes too...

Here is an article that I found very interesting.

The article did not say that they looked at autistic children. Neurotypical children most likely would not show a relationship because their bodies were able to excrete the mercury. Its been proven in a study (and I'll have to find the link to the study) that autistic children are unable to excrete mercury based on the lack of mercury in their baby hair as opposed to the large amounts of mercury in the hair of NT kids. In fact the less mercury in the hair the more severe the autism.
