Everyone assumes it must take a lot of training, hard work, numerous piles of paperwork, uphill battle of paper work, expenses beyond affordable in order to get a status for having a service animal.
Here's a link to Service Animals...you may be very surprised!
My doctor wrote a perscription for me stating
"Patient to have service animal to assist with disabilities"

We even fly on commercial airlines....my dog sits quietly at my feet during our flights. South West Airlines brought her a blanket during a long flight, floors are always cold....they had a few open seats, insisted she climb up for a snooze during one flight. We walk up and down the isle, people reach out for a pet after they announced her as a "Pet Therapist" open for visiting.
Here's some pictures of Satin II

Hi Cheryl,

I just had to comment on your pictures of Satin.

they are wonderful especially the last on with her by the trash bin.

Oh, she looks so guilty. It reminds me of my Golden Retriever, Penny whenever she would do something she wasn't supposed to and got caught.

I have a picture of her somewhere. Sadly she has been gone for 10 years now and I do miss her very much.

It all goes by so fast, so enjoy the time you have together.

Beautiful animal Cheryl! And so sad to lose even just an ordinary pet so I feel for you losing yours Quahog. I wish a lot of things were different and my daughter could get a dog for herself since she has seizures.

Cheryl,
Am I missing the link you said you were posting? Just wondering. I love the pics of your dog. I thought I found a place to find that said they would train me a dog then one of the guys that worked for the guy quit and kept in touch with me and emailed that the guy was being contacted by lawyers. :( So not sure if I can get one now.

Hello i am new ti this-due to my situation i cant get that magic prescription from a dr- NO medical carefor 3 1/2 yrs- have TBI & grandmal seizures- since mydog is in taining she can be barred from EVERYWHERE!! ADA laws r not recognized for in training animals- i go to a mental health place for some free help & they have forbidden me to bring her and weill not discuss her need to my life- she is completely ignored as a service animal would you know where i can get some kind of support??
