How sad! This forum used to really rock! People checking in every day more than once a day even! So sorry the help isn't here like it used to be, I do feel for each and every one of you who suffer with the battle of addiction! It's got to be the hardest thing ever to deal with.

I wish you all the best of luck! Hang in there and keep checking in!

Prayers for you all!

Dizzy

Hiya, I am still here :)) I think this website took a blow when it closed down for a couple of months due to maintenance. It doesnt seem to have picked up again.I have had a good run of sleep now for 7 nights in a row...unheard of for me in the last 6 months. I decided the melatonin wasnt doing its job and they kept putting the price up. It went up $10 in 2 months and I felt $18 for 30 capsules wasnt worth it. Sometimes it would work and sometimes it wouldnt so not what I could call a reliable product. The last 7 nights, I have taken 500 mgs of magnesium and a natural product called rem sleep. Maybe I have hit the jackpot....dont want to speak too soon but it seems to have been working.Hope all is ok with everyone :)))

Kaylish. Hey congrats on the sleep!!! I know it must be wonderful. I too have been off the sleep meds for about 2 and and a half weeks (since I started Lyrica for pain) and I am sleeping better than I have in years. Unfortunately the Lyrica has been giving migraines everyday so I don't know how long that will last.

Hiya Christina.I hope your new pain drug is still goving you good benefit without the migraine.I have suffered migraine and they can be debilitating alright. Just great you could come off the sleep meds.....how long were you on them for ? My lovely sleep pattern has ended  I took my magnesium and rem sleep for 19 days conscutively (first time in 6 months) and they worked bang on every night........then they didnt work :)). Gave myself a week break from them and took sleeping pills in the interim. Started the remedy again and it didnt work  I feel bummed out and cheated....lol.lol but the only alternative I have are the pills and at some stage I will tolerate them too  Hope all is ok with you christina.::

Hey Kay, good to hear from you. The Lyrica didn't work out I had a migraine for 18 days and had to give it up. At first I though I was going to maintain some semblance of decent sleep after but that only lasted about 2 weeks and now I am back to occassionally taking the Ambien CR. Still barely works. I have recently been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and inability to sleep is a symptom. Not what I wanted to hear but at least now I know. Just getting by best I can. Sorry to hear that you are back to having a problem. Really don't have any advice except to hang in there and hopefully it will get better. May take quite a while. I know it is frustrating and exhausting. Some days just want to cry when it gets to be bedtime because I crave a long deep sleep and I pretty much know I won't get it. I try not to think about it too much. I am so tired all day and by bedtime I can barely keep my eyes open so I go to sleep and it is good for about an hour then I keep waking up on and off. I just hope it gets better for both of us soon.
