First let me say I've been feeling really good since the new shunt was put in. There have been a few bumpy days but nothing that has required me to see the doctor. And speaking of him, the office never did call back with an appointment after cancelling the surgery follow-up appointment.
Now about the prayers needed. My father saw the eye doctor today concerning tests he had done in Halifax a couple of weeks ago. The doctors have been going back forth saying my father has cancer, no he doesn't, yes he does, no he doesn't. Well, the test results are in and are conclusive: Dad does have lymphoma of the eye, and there is a suspicion it has spread to the brain and abdomen. He will be going for a lot of tests the next few weeks.
If you are the praying kind, my family could use some.
Thanks,
Rob
