Hi everyone
I'm wondering if anyone else has/had the feeling of bee stings that effect you? I have what I think is a cross of stinging or pin pricks that move all over from legs to face when I get to hot or too cold-yikes they hurt. They don't last too long in one place-but can bother me off/on for a day here and there.
Thanks

hi kp
yes i did have that occur all the time
since i have been taking the magnesium
it happens rarely
lyme does some thing to our sensory system
i used to imaging that there were ticks all over my body
Now i know it was irritated nerves from the toxins, low magnesium levels
and low choline levels
don't give up
take care

Thanks Mag 2
The stings have been really bad the last couple of days-I hadn't heard anyone else mention it so I thought maybe I was close to loosing it. It has that effect on you-the pain, annoyance. Pain meds don't even help
thanks

I've had the stinging, also, usually when I get a little over-heated. I was especially sensitive when on a medicine that did not agree with my system and then going out in the sun. I since learned that that medicine, while still being used, is started off in much lower dosage.

I get that sensation on my head and torso when I first break into a sweat ... in the cold, I just get plain numb.
Vitamins b12, folic acid, and biotin have helped some. before I got diagnosed with Lyme I used to post on the Peripheral Neuropathy forum, under the name of numbsy toes. You might want to ask around there ... folks had lots of good advice.

I have lyme and I have had the symptoms you describe mostly in my legs. However for me it's not the hot and cold that activate that feeling but rather when I wear pants. As I walk around and the pants rub on my legs it causes all sorts of weird and painful sensations.
You are definitely not losing your mind and I am hoping we can all feel better at some point.
