At least I can post again :D
hope some of the old stuff comes back. If not, is it fair to bring is back from cached pages? It is the same BT.

I have been wondering around the land of Oz for quite a few hours. I must have sniffed a few poppies cuz I just got here!
I am Linda Llonghair
My original name wouldn't take so this is my new one.

Hi Linda - I am here too - Land of OZ? Austrailia? Are you in Australia?
Anne
HaHa,
I really am in OZ. I can't post on BT2 for some reason now so I am stranded here. So anyone that shows up say hello to the Wiz. I am not sure if the back and forth between the two caused this but when I went to log into BT2 they said my password was invalid. So, I requested a new one and they say my name is Llonghair again.
Maybe I am not as healthy as I thought I was...LOL...I must be in a fog today or something as I can't figure any of this out!
Maybe if I find some sparkley red shoes and click them together 3 times I might get home!
There is no place like Home...click....There is no place like Home...click....There is no place like Home...click....
Where AM I!

You are right - there is no place like home. Sometimes I think the best part of a vacation is getting home. Am I getting old?
Sorry that you feel foggy today. Hope the fog lifts. I seem to be able to post on both forums...so far.
Anne
Anne,
I didn't write yet but it is just you and me in NY.

I could lend you my dog - she is a Cairn terrier (a Toto dog)
Yup, just you and me and 1000+ people at the convention. This is going to be fun.
Anne
Are you bringing your shopping shoes?
You know we will have to do a little shopping!

The only shoes I can wear are comfortably are New Balance because of my PN. Makes it difficult to get dressed up. No problem walking as long as I wear my comfortable shoes. :D
I have a pair of boots that I love. I put Gels in them so I am always gellin!!
What I like most though is they make me taller...not that I ever cared but when I take them off my hubby freaks when he hugs me as he thinks I am so small without them.
I have never been much of a shopper especially if it is not a .99 deal. I am Mrs. cheap, cheap cheap!
When is that little adventure you two are going on?
Linda, you are really locked out of BT2? That seems so strange!
Yes, things are a little desolate here. I'm still confused. I wish this downtime had never happened :(.

Hoping for some/all of the old posts to return.

Anne, have you ever tried hush puppies? They work really well for me. I don't know what kind of women's styles they have, but I'm happy with mine. Well, as happy as I can be with PN I guess ;)
I wear New Balances too :D

Can't seem to wear many woman's shoes - too narrow. I remember an post on the old BT about wide feet and PN. My feet are sure wide. Men's New Balance 4E  is the most comfortable. I actually found some woman's casuals that are ok but they are very casual too.

Maybe you could wear guys HP's? It might be better than your NB's in some situations. I don't know what colors they come in.

Thanks for the suggestion. There are not many men's shoes that come in size 7.

...and what do you mean... with difficulty? Sign up stuff, or something more?

Well, 621 members have registered.. but it is still awfully quiet. The MS forum seems to be hopping. PN is about as hopping as here. I haven't checked the other big ones.
Still waiting to see what happens~

I asked JL last night about data restore [he was in chatroom briefly]. He said he's making sure that everything is stable before he does that. He did not give a time frame however.

It's great to see your smiling faces. I'm still gluten free, except when I go to my Mom's and she assures me that the meal is gluten free (but forgot to mention that she marinated the meat in a new soy sauce recipe). It also gets tiresome shen she asks if I'm still on "that diet."
Hi Huddleston!
Good to see you!

Didja notice that the storage in our private messages has been increased to 500 messages. Wasn't it 50 before the crash?

I thought it used to be 100?

Hey you guys!
I'm back :)
While the boards were down, I started back to school to get my degree as a Dietitian. I am hoping to make some changes in the way people think about health (and GLUTEN!) I am so looking forward to those Dietetic courses, but I have to finsih another semester of science after I wrap up this one first!
What else. . . Bean started school! Kindergarten! Holy cow. I was in a panic over school lunches, but I got it together and it's a breeze now. I am still doing classes (teaching) on low allergen eating and I had two articles published last summer on this stuff, but I am too busy now to think about writing anything else! LOL
My girls are getting bigger. We introduced gluten to baby Bella (she is 3.5, not really a baby anymore) for the first time and she seems fine with it. We also introduced dairy at the same time for her. Now, a month later, she is getting some rashing, so we may have to start the elmin testing again. We don't eat those foods at home, but she does eat them at preschool and at Grandmas's house!
Bean has been taking care of herself at school like an old pro. There have been slip ups where the teacher has given her gluten snacks, but Bean knows better and she just refuses them, pushes them away, and reminds everyone in hearing range that she can't eat gluten!
Yeah, bad that her teacher forgot, but it makes me feel great to know she can look out for her own health if I am not there 100% of the time!
Life is really a blur over here, but I have missed you guys! I hope some of the other old regulars stop back in to say hi. Greencat, Karina, Reanna (sp?), Chanley, come on back!!!
Okay, there is a poster whose name I forget, but she always had great reports on health info. She would do SCD for 2 weeks whenever anyone got sick. Is she back here?
I hope so!
Okay, virtual hugs to everyone!

That sounds like Kim (Pakisa100) and yes she checks in once in a while. She post more often on Neurotalk *******************************.com/index.php This was set up as a temporary forum while BT was down, but it is now a growing community.
Here is a link to an old page about elmination diet http://64.233.161.104/search?q=cache:Xnw-n4sQum4J:brain.hastypastry.net/forums/archive/index.php/t-44755.html+elimination+diet+kim+%2B+braintalk&hl=en&gl=us&ct=clnk&cd=1
