i call missing socks

here i sit in this room
surround by washing machines
and dryers
how can there be one without the other
what a noise they make?
to keep the noise out
my mind starts to wonder
thinking of socks
yes socks

of all the socks i have lost over the years to the washing machine

must be about 30 dz
these machines have eaten up

i feel like getting out of this chair
going up to the machine and posing this question

HEY MACHINE >>>>>>>WHAT THE HECK HAVE YOU
DONE TO all my SOCKS
but then again if i do, someone will come in and wonder
about me
what the heck at 76 years young i can talk
to whatever or whoever i want

Silly story about lost socks.

What if bra cups weren't attached?...
You know they do come in pairs...like socks.
can you imagine trying to wear your bra with only one cup!
Is hard to push both boobies into one cup...Ever try doing that?
I have.
and which side should I use, or do I put in middle?...
or do I sew in the remaining sock in place of the missing cup?

And can you imagine...a Bra monkey!
What kid would play with that?
I'll save that one single sock...in hopes of some year I'll find that missing one. Is it the left or the right sock thats gone missing?
I dunno...I just can't remember what foot I used it on last.
Maybe that huge piles of single socks I've been saving...I can make the rug, you know...
those braided kind they used to make using nylons back after the depression.
Or should I save them to use for sewing project...making brazeirs for older ladies....
gravity does cause problems when the body loses muscle elasticity!
I think sock bras is a good idea...but I dunno.
Yeah...the washer ate it!...I tried putting a seive on my washers drain pipe to catch the remains..
but those socks are so digested!
I know where they've gone....The washer does eat just one and then is pooped all over your clothing after it has eaten one.
When you dry your clothing....look in the dryer lint trap!
There you'll find your missing sock...but is, now just lint.
Check this out...look at the lint...you'll find the threads used from your sock there hiding in the lint trap!
So no more buying those expensive socks....I just take the lint, stuff that in my shoes...no more feeding that washer ever again!
Now....I think my washers been eating my laundry soap too!
Every time I put in 2 cups of Tide...I open the lid...and walla! The Tides missing half hour later!
I just dunno....can't anyone be honest around this house?!
What happened to the good old days when you rubbed your clothing on that rippley board.....NEVER had missing socks back then, huh!
So I've found a way to stop this madness...the missing sock and that expensive warshing powder, Tide, missing every time I toss them in the washer! No MORE!
I just put my dirty clothing in the dryer! Honest...no more missing sock!
And the Tide powder is still there too!
Ha ha ha! They ain't foolin me...I aint stupid! ha ha ha!
But...I know...my washer's been secretly sending my missing socks to the place where they make those stupid creatures!
Honest...look at the picture I'm attaching...see...my missing sock is right there for everyone to see!
Some one....pleeeeze call 911...tell them we know where those missings socks have gone.
i'd call them myself...but they don't have phones in my private room here....was told was getting a room with a veiw...
Ha...they call that tiny window in my door a veiw!
more like a veiw-er so they can look at me!
And why no furniture in here either...just a rubber mat on the floor...
and this outfit they gave....one sleeve goes right to my shoulder...both sides that way!
Is called some sort of Jacket...straight...doesn't look straight to me!...ha!
Can't move or do a thing in this white outfit with all those straps in the back!
Anyway...help mucho be appretiated
