I got a FULLY FAVORABLE decision in the mail today, after 3 and half years!!! I had a hearing a year ago, where the judge was totaly so far out there it wasn't even funny...in his decision he kept calling me a "he", quoted a doctor I'd never seen, and got my medical records wrong and the dates all wrong. We appealed it and this summer I got a letter from the appeals council saying that they had thrown out that judges decision and they were going to be scheduling another hearing with another judge.

Today I got the fully favorable decision from the new judge saying that he looked over my medical records and the we didn't need a new hearing, that my medical records said enough. I can hardly believe it! I've been waiting so very long for this. I cried when I read his decision.

What is your disability if you dont mind. I would like to see what other people have to deal with and what SS feels about different disabilities. Thanks, Brian

HI Angel
I am very happy for you. My son who is borderline retarded and functions on a low level had a very bad judge also. This one was mean and rude and treated my son so bad. The judge said he would have to have a one on one kind of job where he has constant supervision .The lawyer told him there wasnt many jobs like that and what would happen if they couldnt do that .The judge said he would be fired then. Even though the judge said all these things he was still denied and although we appealed it he still lost. Not many jobs that can give you one on one supervision constantly. This judge was the meanest person I ever seen in my life. He had me crying and I wasnt even the one answering his questions. I am glad things worked out for you.Angel 1954
