Gee I sure hate to see our stupid song thread go. We had a wonderful time with that one didn't we. I don't think I want to start it over again though. It was starting to get hard to come up with new ones.

I'm so glad to see you new people. We need fresh blood on this board. We hang out, chat a little (or a lot if I get on my soap box, lol) but we have fun.

Louise, talk about whatever you want, whenever you want. Everyone on here are gracious and kind and will try to help you with anything they can or just be here for you if you need someone to listen.

Boopers, I was getting out of my son's pool, put on my flip flops cause the deck was hot, went down the steps, flip flops broke and I hit the last two steps and the bottom concrete slab hardddddddddd with my butt..... :eek: Nothing the docs can do for a broken tail bone so you just have to suffer. My pain meds don't touch the pain. Sitting hurts so I'll be in and out of here as I can.

So anyhow, welcome back everyone and I hope we can all hang together again through the ups and downs and the whatevers.

I'm so sorry to hear about your tailbone, CG! :( OUCH! :eek: I fractured mine in college, when I slipped on icy steps leading to my apartment. Gaining all my weight sure didn't help it. :( It's not so bad now that it's got a lot less on it! :D That was a long time ago, too. Feel better, hon'! :)

So...anyone hear any stupid songs lately?? :D Kelly Pickler's "Red High Heels" gives me a headache. :rolleyes:

How is everyone else. Lets use this thread to catch up on what's been going on while the board was down. Now that most of us have checked in, I'm curious to know how your summer went.

I'm dreading this cold weather. They say it's going to be one of the coldest and wettest in years. When it gets below 70 I start freezing...

Chrys, did you grow any goodies this year? I had to finally give up on a garden. It just got too much for me to handle anymore. But I did plant a whole bunch of flowers.

A month ago, my husband asked for this coming week off. We had plans on going to the beach for a few days. We have had down pours of rain for the last few days and on the news this morning, they said tomorrow is suppose to have a big storm coming in and 60mph. winds!! We talked about it and we have been at the beach in storms before so we still plan on going. We may need to buy a boat to get back home! :D

Did you go and how was your trip? I'd love to go to the beach. I don't swim but I love to sit and look at the water. I do love to fish but not many places available to fish at our beaches.

I'm not to far from Panama City Beach Florida and places around there. I hardly ever go. Sometimes I take my two grandaughters for a day or two but haven't lately.

Hope you had fun and surely hope the storm didn't cause you any damage.
