My son Emeric is 11.5 months and diagnosed with Epilepsy 2 months ago. He is on Dilantin and lamictal but we're currently weaning off the Dilantin. :)

Hi Emerics mom. I am Ava's mom ( Jen). Ava was DXed spring of 06.
She is prone to complex partial status episodes. Tried trileptal and Lamictal.
We are off meds and doing a modifeied ketogenic dietary treatment with pretty good results.

I met you guys both already, but incase any new parents come by this thread- I am Denae, Rileys Mom. Riley was first diagnosed with Epilepsy in December of 2001. She was diagnosed with Lennox Gastaut Syndrome this year.

She is currently taking Zonegran and Klonopin, along with the VNS since Feb of 2006.

In September when we go back to Dr.P we are going to talk about dietary options again.

Hi Nicole! I am Shannon, mom to Julia who surprises me every 3-4 months with a CP that generalizes. I just joined here today, but have been a member on EFA for a while. Emeric is adorable!
