...body temp control issues?? This came up before with my nsg, and it drives me INSANE!! All summer, I'm hotter'n that place way south of here, and the second the weather gets cooler--even fall--I am freezing all the time. It's especially bad when it's damp, too, as it was today. I wore my slippers and a sweater over my clothes inside my 70-degree house and was still freezing. :o

I am fairly sure my hypothalamus is "broken," as I get (as I have mentioned before) really nasty fevers with SP seizures, but OMG...I knew I'd have some effects from losing nearly 85 lbs of "insulation," but this is gonna kill me as much as the extra poundage was! Anyone else out there??

Okay...end of rant, for the time being.

I don't know if this will help, but the hypothalamus also regulates your body
temperature, thirst, hunger and a few other things. A "broken" hypothalmus
would certainly throw these out of control.

Just a thought...

I'm not so hot:cool: , but I do freeze in the winter. Yes, even in Phoenix.

My hubby is the same way, it is still in the 90's here and he had a coat on the other day. I thought it was just him but he is so cold all of the time he is 5'11" and weighs on a good day 159 lbs. This hasn't happened in awhile but occassinally he will have night sweats, but being cold all the time worries me and it is not just his feet, his body is down right cool to the touch sometimes and then it will go the other direction and be really hot to the touch like a child's fever. All of this since his hydro formed.
