Back in '94, one of the problems I had before and after my surgery was
that I had a lot of pain that went from my groin on the left side, down
to my left knee. I'm having the same trouble again-also before and after
shunt surgery.
It's not a spinal problem-there are no changes in my spinal stenosis
and it's got nothing to do with the discs.
Now, we all know that one of the signs of problems with the shunt is
co-ordination problems. But, what I want to know is:
how long after a shunt revision did your co-ordination get better?
did any of you experience pain in your groin before or after a revision?
I'm trying to figure out if there's a connection between the two.
could the way I'm walking when my leg acts up put pressure on
my groin? If you've ever been bowling or watched somebody else
bowl, you'll notice how they seem to go down on one leg as they
bring the ball forward. That's how I walk when my leg acts up.
Sometimes, I can't even stand up.:(
Thanks for listening!
