I searched a couple relevant terms before making a new post.

I am on 400mg Dilantin for epilepsy.

My son was diagnosed with ADD recently, and he is on Concerta- which is working great for the daytime.

Naturally, I've always just assumed I was ADD, and I've created my own methods of coping. However, as I've been reading about ADD/ADHD lately, I have read that in some cases Dilantin is prescribed for ADHD.

First, is anyone here using Dilantin to control ADD/ADHD?

Second, does anyone know anything any meds which treat ADD/ADHD, but which would also work with Anti-epileptic drugs?

Thanks.

I'm from the epilepsy room. I took dilantin & it made my gums swell. Several ppl said that. Perhaps because of that & I, at age 12, didn't brush those hidden back teeth good, that's why my 2 molars were pulled. For info. on any med. go to http://www.drugdigest.org/DD/Home
