Well it has been a week and a half since I had my first set of sacro. joint shots and while they worked mildly I was really hoping they would get me through until the next time which isn't until the 15th. Not so. Pain is creeping up and I have nothing except for the Methadone. It is Saturday so I cannot go to the doc or even call him. Don't want to take the Methadone even if it is only 5mg. Am at a loss as to what to do. Cried on and off all day yesterday and the pain is getting worse as I sit here and type. Depressing myself. Have to go. Just wanted to try to check in.

Hope all have a well day.

Sorry to hear the effects are wearing off and you are now in such pain. Do what you have to just to get through this weekend then call your doctor.

I'm really sorry to hear this, I can sure relate as I'm right there with you , my Dr's however will not give me anything else for pain with the methadone.

I can't take it much longer, as to take enough meth to help the pain I turn in to a zombie, so if I have no quality of life no since in taking the med...

I had my second ESI of the T spine Tuesday and took a bad fall in the basement the next day and have been in terrible pain since, more then before the injection for sure.

I hope that your pain let's up soon and that your Dr helps you,

Linda

Thanks Mark, I hope you are doing well.

Linda I am so sorry about your fall, I can't imagine. It is one of my fears that I will fall, particularly down the basement stairs, and I and my 6 yr old will be the only ones here. I hope you feel better soon.

As for calling my doc that won't do me any good. He doesn't even know/remember that I have methadone left over from my last PCP and have been nursing this last scrip since last November. I told him but he just told me that they don't write scrips for those kind of meds at that clinic. I am down to about 4 10mg tablets. I see him on Thursday and will find out if he will do the Lyrica and all I can do is hope that it works. No matter because I plan to change PCPs at the beginning of September, it will be starting over but this doc i have been seeing since May is just not getting it. I also have a PM doc in mind to request to see. That woman at the PM clinic told me that the PM clinics in my county only give pain injections but I found out that there is an MD just about a mile from me that specializes in PM and accepts my insurance and is accepting patients. I am due for my next injection on the 15th and am looking forward to it.

Thanks for your responses. Be well.
