Hi Lymies, I know that I checked off pelvic pain several years ago as a symptom.......the past few days it's really getting bad tho. I actually jump in my desk chair when I get this sharp pain.
Has anyone else had this happen? It's not from sex cause I've been celibate for almost as long as a nun! I don't think it's an infection either. I've never had any type of problems "down there". This feels like it's actually in my pelvic bones.
Maybe it's just yet another weird thing. I've also recently had sharp bone pain in my arms, elbows & the top of my feet. All these pains are bam, here & gone.
Now of course I've researched bone pain, all I really came up with was cancer! That seems to go along with the past 8-9 yrs of several docs trying to get me in for biopsies! And I researched pelvic pain, seems it could be caused by numerous things. googled Lyme & pelvic pain,it's just listed as a symptom.....
Don't expect any answers to this, just wondering if anyone else has felt this pain?
thanks,Buttons

Hey Buttons,
Sorry you are feeling so crummy. I have not heard of this kind of pain before with Lyme, but that means bupkus! I've had shooting pains, but can't say that they are bone pain per se. The only "bone" pain I get is joint pain in my fingers, knees and toes.
Hope you feel better and get some answers soon.
B~

Well go figure, not one bit of pelvic pain so far today! I'm just gonna say I have "come & go disease"!!
Pelvic pain is listed on many Lyme symptom charts (lists),but of course no explanation! I'm assuming it's been common among patients for it to make the list.
I also know that myoclonus is listed on some but not others',they usually have tremors instead.
Why not just throw in hangnails while @ it?

I'm sorry about the pain, but glad it was short lived. Did you do something that made it stop? herbal antibiotics? more magnesium?
Keeping you in my prayers,
Ginny

Hi Buttons. Maybe you should see a gyno for a check-up just to make sure it is not something else?

Hi, thanks for the replies. This was another come & go pain. I'll keep it in my journal though......glad none of you seem to have had this particular pain, but if you do remember it's probably just another weirdo factor.

Hi, Buttons 2, I have definitely felt that same way in my pelvic area, so bad that I remember thinking, if this doesn't stop soon, I'll have to go to the ER, and like most all of us, I have a very high pain tolerance. It feels something like a muscle being yanked and yanked magnified 100 times. Is that how yours felt?
Thanksfor sharing,
Kathy

Well since I'm not experiencing it right now I'm trying to recall just how it felt......cause it was like nothing I've ever felt before! Not an ache,it was sharp pains.....like WOW! Only lasted a few days. It's like the pains I get elsewhere in my body though. Quick flashes that make me gasp!
No, I didn't take any herbals to stop the pain. Actually I realize I recently wrote how well I've been feeling, well I should keep that as a positive memory cause lately I feel like crap! And what's really distrubing is my brain is going haywire again!*ack Trouble with spelling & typing! Maybe I better dig out my herbs, cat's claw, etc.
This is OT here but my youngest son has a bulls eye rash on his ankle right now. He was bitten by a mosquito a few weeks ago. He knows I strongly suspect I have Lyme & we don't discuss it too much. So when he showed me this bite I went on Lyme alert. Told him that other blood sucking insects besides ticks can cause Lyme & I'm proof of it.....his bite still itches like crazy. He's 100% an outdoor guy, lives in woods also. Removes ticks from his dogs, etc. Anybody ever hear of a mosquito bite that does this? Maybe he inherited my genes for weird bug bites on the foot!
Hope all of you are doing better!
HUGS to all,Buttons
P.S. Have any of you ever tried the salt/vitamin c regime? I'm thinking I'll do that again,it made the biggest difference in my health I've had in the past 9 years. At least make a poultice & put on my bite, last time I did that I sure got a reaction! Maybe that's what I need to draw the crud out of me again? I could make medical history with having this bite still visable after all these years!
