I was there this time!!!!!

I took Jimmie over to my mil's independent living apartment this afternoon. Jimmie's cousin Kyle, who just graduated from Liberty University in June, was there. He is going to South Korea for a year to teach English and was on his way to meet his new nephew for the first time...Ethan was born in May and they live in Moline, about 45 minutes from here. Anyway, I was chatting away and not paying attention. Jimmie was laying on the floor. I looked down and he was SITTING! I screamed. He swayed a little but remained sitting and clapping at my joyous outburst. I was so proud I swooped him up and gave him a big hug and kiss! He did it a couple of other times too...I caught those on tape and will download it later to my space...but he fell over pretty quickly those times. The time I wasn't paying attention was the best...he sat for a long time and righted himself after I yelled...he only stopped because I picked him up!

Langan was about Jimmie's age when she started sitting. It was well worth the wait! And now she's everywhere! Jimmie will get there, too. Sounds like he's well on his way!!
