Cry Tears

Hi All...don't know if any of you have ever been to Oregon...but its always raining here....right now I'm just sick of it!
WHile its not raining right now...it has been downpouring all last week.
It only got up to mid 60's last week....felt like was going to never get warm again. I am just so sick of this rain and cold summer.
While everyones complaining about sweltering heat....I've got my sweater and wool socks on thinking of lighting up a fire.
We put in a pool earlier in the summer...had all these visions of swiming long hot summer days...pool parties,,,,cannon balls and making many laps around and around the pool.
When we first filled the pool, we spent half my paycheck on chemicals for it. Seemed I'd never get the water clear enough to keep it from looking like a swamp...it was green and cloudy...but after ANOTHER $29 bottle of algaecide, finally got it looking crystal clear! Yeah! Now we could swim in it!
It had been 103* all week...and wanted nothing more than to jump in that pool and make our first splashes...then it turned cold...and 2 weeks of this we're just ready to scream!
This morning woke up to drizzleing dark cloudy skies...it did clear up after 3PM today...but weather men say another wet storm is on its way and low temps will be on us once again.
Anyone else live in the Pacific North West and hating this awful weather?
I'ts actually causing me to be very depressed.
We look foward to our summers....wait 9 months for it...dream about it, plan for it...then now is raining, cold, dark, damp, drizzeling wet!
Last rain was huge downpour.
I'm regretting moving to Oregon...we left San Diego back in 1984...why oh why did we ever move here??? I wanna go back! But housing cost is way outa our reach now...we sold our home...shoulda just kept it rented it out.
If only I would have stayed there...I'm really getting depressed with all this rain...anyone wanna trade places with us?
For sale or trade: a Dump on a hump wtih lots of rainy skies...
will trade for dump on a hump in the sunshine!
PS...we dont' have rattlesnakes or black widow spiders here!
blessings, cheryl
