Hi everyone. It has been quite somewhile since I last posted, about 9 months. I started coming here in 2002 as MarciaK1, mainly just reading the wealth of information that is posted.
Anyway, 5 years into my diagnosis, things seem to have remained fairly stable. I've tried Rebif and Betaseron (failed both due to liver issues), and have been on Copaxone since January of 2004. It's hard to believe I have been doing C for 3 and 1/2 years :D
I am probably overreacting but the doctor's office left a message with my husband that I needed to go in for bloodwork right away and see him in 2 weeks. I just had an MRI of my cervical spine last week so I am thinking that he received that report and has some sort of suspicions based on that. My only lesion is on my c-spine. I called back and spoke with the receptionist who, of course, could not give me any idea what was up. So I get to worry until 8/1st. I am getting the bloodwork done tomorrow am so at least then I will know what tests were ordered.
The reason for this post is to see if anyone remembers the website that listed recommended MS docs. I thought it was something like clamdocs.org but I can't find it and the search function wouldn't work for me. (It wanted me to type in some code that was supposed to be visible but there was nothing there?)
I live in the Chicago area but I don't remember if it was a local site or one that covered the whole country. It's not that I am dissatisfied with my current doc. But if something is really wrong I want to be prepared to see an MS expert, probably at one of the teaching hospitals here in Chicago.
Does anyone remember the site I am talkin about?
