Sunday before last after church Nathan came in the church and told me that Adam said a lady had thrown a kitten out of the window of her car because the kitten had scratched her and they wanted to keep it.

I was HOPING it was a girl.. I already have two cats at home a female (about 14 yrs old) and a male (about 4 -5 yrs old). I wasnt sure how two males would get along. I really DIDNT want another cat.. I WANTED A DOG.. lol IF I was to get another cat I wanted a RAGDOLL or MAINE COON..

Oh well.. HE is so cute. He has EXTRA toes on his front paws. I will try to get pics of it when I can. I took him by the vet just to ask the front desk about him (so I didnt have to pay).. I was right about him. 1. It IS a boy. lol 2. He is about 10 -12 weeks old 3. He is underweight (2.9 lbs).

We think we have decided to call him "TC". It can stand for either Toe Cat for extra toes, or Tough Cat for handling being tossed from a car, Tender Cat because he loves to lay in my lap or my chair and be pet.

We also thought of "ET" for Extra Toes.

The Lord was showing me this morning that he could be just as good as a service dog in some ways as TC was laying in my lap. He was comforting as he was laying in my lap and I was petting him. I DONT have to worry about who is going to watch the cats when we go somewhere because all I have to do is leave them home with food and water and their litter box and I do have my grabber for picking things up and I do have my walker (with a seat) for my walking and balance. Cats are less expensive than dogs because they dont have the heart worm meds and extra stuff like dogs do.

lol Look at the difference in size btwn my other male cat (Baby - named because of his baby blue eyes) and TC in the same bed. Baby gave up the bed awhile ago and actually Autumn used to use this bed when I had her.. NOW TC uses it.. I THINK Baby is either Ragdoll or part Ragdoll..

THIS is a picture of Baby and Myacis (My 14 yr old female) in thier beds next to each other.. Baby is cream/white color. Myacis is tortiose shell

Here is TC in the same bed Baby was in...

Right now the older cats ARE NOT happy he is here. They have pretty much stayed OUTSIDE.. Tho thier food is inside so they have to come inside to eat. I cant feed them outside because the raccoons and coyotes will come up and eat it.. So will the duck and geese.

He is becoming a LAP cat to me.. He is always wanting MY lap. He wont lay on the boys laps like he does mine. lol He is here now laying under my keyboard. I sit on my recliner with my keyboard on my lap. A little bit ago I got up to get something to eat and laid him on his bed and went in the kitchen.. a few seconds later he was in there UNDER my feet laying down or looking up at me. lol when I went to the other side he moved under my feet. Then when I came in here to eat he jumps back in my lap HOPING to get some cereal (which he wont) and then lays down to go back to sleep. lol

Here are some more pics I took of him up at my moms. We went up to my moms to visit and had to take him since I've been feeding him some can food to try to get him to gain some weight.

The shot clinic will be in town on July 28th so he will get shots on the 28th (I hope I have $10.00 then)..

Here he is in my moms plant..

Here is a pic of his front paws with his extra toes..

I hope Im not boring you with him.. I have debated getting another kitten to keep him company and to keep him away from the older kitties.. He has tried antaganizing the older ones by jumping up and getting their tails and when I have the other male in my lap TC will try to jump up in my lap to get him and the older one will freak out and I dont need that in my lap.

Blessings,
GM

Who can possibly get bored looking at kitty pics? I want to tell ya something. My cat Sissy looks exactly like the kitten, except for the extra toes. Sissy is the most strange cat I've ever had. She will NOT have anything to do with anyone but me! She had a twin when I adopted her,the other cat must have become coyote bait @ about 6 mos. During the time I had both of them they were complete terrors!

Sissy hunts more than any cat I've ever had also. Constantly bringing me her kill, including wild bunnies! I've learned since getting her that tabbies are notorious hunters. I never even clip her claws as she is outside as much as in.

She's always tripping me! When I adopted my big dog,Rags, she stayed in the shed for the first 4 mos! Now she walks under Rags & they actually tease each other.Sissy has never so much as hissed at either of the dogs,it just seems she has her mind made up on how to act or react & that's it. Very few people have even seen her in the past 5 years! No idea why she is so unfriendly......and I love that she seldom meows!

Buttons-always a cat owner!

Hi Gina

.. Seems as if new kitty is happy enough with just your company. He might not want to share you with any more kittys, lol. All the cats are adorable and you are so right about them being able to take care of themselves. Just leave out the essentials and they will calmly walk past you when you return as if to say, you been somewhere, now sit down so I can get comfortable! lol.

Hi Gina...we had a TC tabby cat..in fact we had two named TC but not at same time.
Our first TC was named that because she looked like a Tiger Cat...just gray tabby...very VERY aloof and unfreindly...never a lap cat or cuddly one.
She hissed all the time.
One day we had a horendous thunderstorm with lightening striking the ground right next to our home several times.
We never saw her ever again...always wondered what happened to her, if she was struck by a bolt or something like that.
We went to where the ground had been struck...rocks had been melted and ants, bugs looked like ghost ashes....was weird. The ground was burned all around where it lite the grass on fire.
That was the worst lightening storm I ever remember but we had a lot of them there in the high desert, outside the town of Ramona, California at the base of Mt Laguna in a valley full of oak tree's lots of rattle snakes and black widow spiders. We even had tarantulas walking down the street after it cooled off towards sundown..
These were always the size of your hand or bigger....eeeeeekkkk! *kitty

Our other TC was another gray tabby...only she was very sweet and petite, tiny...so we called her Tiny Cat...TC. She lived to be 17 years old.
We finally took her in for the perverbial "pink shot"...we all cried that sad day as TC had been so loving for so many years.*cat2

Our very next gray tabby was FreeWay...dubbed for where we'd found her.
She was the craziest cat and for sure had some wires crossed in her brain. You'd pet her, she's purr and hiss loudly, then bite you and swat you with her paws, then rub against your legs.
We had to cage her whenever we had visitors. Kids would think she was sweet as she demanded you pet her, but then she'd bite them, break skin. So she was dangerous with children.
We contemplated putting her down because of this crazy behavior, but decided just to isolate her if we had visitors.
She lived on our back patio over 14 years...she was very coyote savey, then one spring day...a brave coyote pup came right onto our porch and snatched her. Do we miss her? Well...a little bit, yes...but don't miss all the killing she did to my favorite mama squirrells and baby birds and bunnys she'd leave on our back door.
Alsways so maddening to see a mama squirrel laying face up, could see where her babies had been suckling. Those were times I thought of bringing out my Mr Smith and doing some target practice...but is waste of hollowpoints! LoL!
I love my 3 kitties....all long haired black cats...hard to tell apart.
One of them, the runt is now huge and he's my favorite...he still nurses off our black Lab even tho he's nearly 2 years old.
He's got 6 toes too, but nothing like your kitty TC...He's got an extra foot looks like...how weird...cool kitty! Enjoy the kitty. So sad he got tossed like he did....I hope is not true...sounds like the woman who tossed him from her car did him a favor...she doesn't deserve ANY animal...no kitty will scratch like that unless being mishandled...I suspect he was...toss her outa the car!
Good luck with yer kitty....cheryl
