It is with great sadness that I come here today. I received a call from my husband at 12:30 am to tell me he loved me, but that he couldn't go on. I didn't get the message till 5:30, but it was too late. The police went to the house and he followed through with it this time. I am scared and shocked and not really sure what is next for me. I will keep you posted as I am able. Thank you for all of your support.

Sue, as others' have mentioned......there are no words right now. Just the shock & sadness. Prayers & hugs for you & his family. Please come back for support,some of us have been through this. I know there are many details to be worked out right now......and can still recall like it was yesterday the numbness I felt.....you're on auto-pilot to get through the next days,weeks ahead.

Oh, honey... What a trial. Sending you loving support and courage as you walk this path, yet again.

I grew up with a Dad, brother, and myself doing all kinds of stuff with drugs, alcohol and violence. Alcoholics have a way of working overtime trying to make other people feel responsible for the space they are in.

I hope you didn't go there; but in case you did, you are not responsible for his choices. You had to do what you had to do to keep yourself safe. I am sooo grateful it wasn't a "murder suicide" situation. Had you stayed, it well could have been.

That said, my heart is very heavy as you walk through these feelings all over again.

I will keep you in my thoughts heart and prayers.
