Incision Question

For the last couple of days I have been able to feel what I thought was a really big scab on my neck incision. Scabs have been coming and going since I had surgery over three months ago. I went to PT today and the therapist said that it looked odd. She said it was dried blood and that I might want to see someone about it. I am not actively bleeding or anything, but I am confused. Has anyone experienced this or have any thoughts.

just put some neosporin oint on it .

All healed up now,but I never had a problem with the scar,I do have a question,You say neck incision?????? My colloid syst was removed from a right front crainiaustomy(they cut my head over the top from ear to ear almost)

Can you contact your NSG that did the surgery and have him/her do a quick check-back for you? It shouldn't be a long appt just a quick look-see to make sure that you are healing right.

Thats what I would do. Something may not be healing correctly inside the incision and thats what I would want checked out.

well its been 5 months now I guess its all healed up
