Well, it's been almost a month since I had a cigarette!!! But I've been using the Nicorette inhaler so I haven't been nicotine free yet. I find the inhaler is fantastic. I've been a smoker for 30 years and I've tried to quit a few other times. I've never made it this long before, nor has it been this easy. But I'm experiencing things that I don't know if they are regular withdrawal symptoms or whether it's because of my meds, or epilepsy.......
I can be pretty jittery and shaky at times - I think that's normal. But I've been getting tremors and jerks a fair bit and I'm wondering if perhaps the more pure nicotine and epilepsy don't get along  ? Perhaps it's the stress - that can cause seizures for me.
Any ideas from other "quitters" with epilepsy?
Thanks, Mudge
PS - I'm going to start withdrawing from the inhaler soon. My husband, who has smoked for 40 years, used it for 1 week and then dropped it. I feel a bit weak that I'm still using it, but on the other hand, if that's what keeps me away from cigarettes I'm going to use it.
