Hi
Ii usually post in the Parkinson's forum, having lived with this debilitating disease for 12 years. I take a wheelbarrowful of meds daily just to maintain movement. I even had experimental brain surgery 7 years ago.
I have tried to cut down both the number of pills and the types of medication, but to little avail. It seems that I take a pill, then need another due to t heh side effects caused by the first one. It's a vicious cycle!
My question is this: Is severe ringing in the ears an indication of medication toxicity? Nothing has changed in my daily regimen of pills, but for the last month I have had to contend with extreme ringing in my ears. I looked up each medication on RxList ( www.rxlist.com ) and could only find that the Wellbutrin I take has ringing in the ears listed. I have been on 400 mg daily for over a year.
Any help out there?
Peggy
