Liz, I read about this on MSN's sports link to ESPN and thought - yikes! :( Steroid rage and a little boy with Fragile X, what a painful combination for the family to face. I'd heard on the news last night that folks in the wrestling world had thought his son was a dwarf (their description, not mine), but hearing that he had Fragile X syndrome just blew me away.

The things that parents have to deal with on a daily basis if a child is anywhere off the "NT" profile are totally mindblowing to the media or anyone not in our "Association of Parents of Children Who Just Don't Fit the Mold" (and are portrayed in the press in such a strange and overblown way). I hope that the family members left behind (grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins) are able to deal with the outcome without having cameras stuffed in their faces for interviews. :mad:

liz, did he kill them in a "roid rage" or because of his child disability, couldn't take his son's disability? sad

I don't think he left any kind of a letter explaining this so we may never really know. BUt it's truly sad. :(
