Hey Everyone,
We finally got through the school year and we have the referral for his autism school...yay!! He also got Extended school year services. Even after the Assistant principal fought me on it. In summer school, it's amazing how different my son acts with a new teacher. He actually looks forward to going to school. Which makes my job at home much easier! And on the happiest note, the assistant principal who fought me tooth and nail ALLLL year is being transferred along with the principal to another school!! I get to start fresh with someone new this year!!! I am SO elated!!!!
Thank you everyone for your advice and support. I am so glad I found this forum! And for the people who are still dealing with the school, there is a light at the end of the tunnel!! Just keep trucking along!!!
