Im so heartbroken and crying..

My dad came by yesterday and Autumn finally went with him. He is leaving for Montana. He had bought her for my stepmom at Christmas and asked me if I would take care of her til he had his back surgery and recovered.. It was only suppose to be a couple weeks to MAYBE a month.. That was back in January.. NOT 5 months.. I picked her up from the breeder when she was 9 weeks old. I knew this day would come and tried to prepare myself but guess you can never really prepare. Knowing I cant just drive up and see him anymore and after raising Autumn for just short of 5 months.. Its so painful. I took her on her last run with my powerchair and rough housed with her. Just before my dad pulled away she tried to come out toward me and I had to tell her to stay. None of my boys were here. I texted my oldest that I needed a hug and he didnt even come over (he is only a few doors down).

Just thought I would all let you know that Autumn is finally with her final home. My dad says he will bring her down when he comes to visit (which he says might be around Christmas).. 6 months till I can see her again. She will be 1 yr old then.

Oh well.. I need to get my mind off her now before I get a bad migraine from crying.

Thinking about it and thinking about what my dad said to me while he was here also... I actually miss Autumn MORE than my dad.. I had told my dad that I had lost almost 40 lbs.. Did he congratulate me or say ANYTHING NICE??????? NOOOOOOOOO... Typical... He said YOU NEEDED to...:mad: :(

Autumn IS such a beautiful dog. I'm sorry the time has come for her to leave, and that it comes at the same time as your Dad going far away.
btw: Look at you! You've gotten so trim. :) nice job...I'm impressed.

awwww! :( :( GinaMarie, I am so sorry to read your sad experience. I was choking, remembering losing my dear dogs and not able to have another one. That dog is just plain beautiful. I am so sorry none gave you a hug and your father is so uncaring.
