For about the last week or so Allie's photophobia is coming back bigtime. But also, she has been having these episodes that look like seizures to me- fluttering eyes w/ open mouth, going "erh erh erh." It lasts @ 15 seconds and then she acts like she's frightened and goes a little bit crazy. Yesterday, she came home from school with black eyes-just in the inner corner and swelling in between. Now, it could be that she just smashed her knee into her face- but I asked her teacher and she says that Allie had a great day yesterday- no abuse or anything. She has swimming on Mondays-could it be related to that? I don't see how she could have bruised in this particular place, unless maybe she broke a bone? Its really just above her nose, but I know if you break your nose you get black eyes. Or is it related to the photophobia? If I take her to the doctor, they'll want xrays, which means taking her to the lab and I just don't see her being still enough and the lab will not sedate her(can't). She doesn't seem terribly bothered by it or I would have taken her anyway. Soooo...anyone here have any ideas?
