...The case brought before the US Supreme Court to allow parents to represent their kids in court cases involving educational lawsuits was argued before the court by...my WW leader's daughter!!!!!!!!!!! :) How cool is that!!?? She's a SPED lawyer who has a son (12, I think Marilyn said) who has AS. :)

I wasn't following this closely, but thought it was ridiculous that these parents were successful in winning their case, only to be sued by the bar association for not providing legal counsel for their child. I'm glad it turned out in their favor!

I love the irony of this kind of story - the parents can't find legal representation (sounds like what Mili was trying to do and couldn't find anyone to help her) so the lawyers are ticked off because the parents took it upon themselves to deal with the situation!
