Really off topic - pet birds

We have 5 parakeets and one laid eggs. We have 3 baby parakeets.

That's neat! I can't believe they actually laid eggs and hatched! Too cute! And the only reason I say that is because my sister raised Parakeets when she was a kid. Now she has something like 14 of the exotic birds...don't ask me to name the kinds; there are too many different ones! Just suffice to say she rescued the majority of them. I will have to tell her about your baby Parakeets and show her the pics when she comes over. :)

My grandaughter has two. Well 1 has no tail feathers they just got out and she tried to get it and pulled the tail feathers out and ran to her mom and said she broke the bird tail and she need a new one. the birds are fine and back in the cage. Jayden is only 4.

Poor birds!

Once the cats (we have 4) knocked over a small cage, a bird got out and got bit. He died. ....but we have another that got bit and survived.

I'll let you know when they are all grown so you can see the colors! Maybe we can sell them and earn extra moola!
