For the last 8 days I have only took 3 pills and it has been 3 days now that I have not had any. Would it be fine just not to take it any more. Or should I just take it every 4th day and go down from there? I feel fine so far. What do you all think.

We are all different. I was on it for a year when the doc discontinued it. He cut the amount by 50% for four days then cut that by another 50%. Four days later, I went off of it completely. There were no problems, what so ever. Best wishes.

My doc had me do it every other day for a few days then stop.
I think if you haven't taken it for 3 days you should be fine to stop completely.

I would think you are okay to stop using it based on your reduction to this point. You should have noticed some effect after three days if you were going to have any unwanted effects.

Well that is good. Now I am on nothing but my pain meds and BP meds and clonazepam. DH said I couldn't go off Clonazepam cause he wants some sleep. LOL

I just wanted to caution you to watch for appetite increases now that you are off the Cymbalta. It is easy for the weight to start creeping up on you when you go off........well for some people like myself at least.
I just increased 60 mg and I am excited because I am hoping I can lose a few more pounds now. Good luck!

Today my brain is going zing zing. what is going on. So I open a capsule and just took a few grains to see if that would help. Did I do right?

I noticed at first when I took cymbalta that I lost some weight at first then I started to gain weight. Nothing changed in my diet. I started to not eat as much because I didnt feel so good because they kept increasing my cymbalta and I might eat one meal a day and I drink lots of gatorade or water because I feel dehydrated, but now I have gained all my weight back and more. It seemed to make me loose weight at first when the med messed up with your stomach and gave me nausea, but now my weight gain keeps going up.

It has caused me to gain weight too. It has stabilized but I am about
35 to 40 lbs heavier than I want to be and walking along with watching what I eat doesn't change my weight. It sure is nice to have the pain control though. This pain was worse than my acute pain from my spine.
